A Safe and Welcoming Place to Grow

At Minnieland Crèche & Preschool, we understand that choosing a childcare environment is an important decision for every family. Our aim is to provide a welcoming, well-maintained and secure setting where children can feel comfortable exploring their surroundings, playing and enjoying their day.

We want parents to feel confident knowing that their child's well-being is an important part of our daily operations.

Our School Environment

We strive to maintain an environment that supports children's comfort, curiosity and development.

  • Child-Friendly Spaces: Classrooms and play areas designed to support age-appropriate activities, exploration and learning.
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene: Regular cleaning and hygienic practices throughout the school.
  • Safe Play: Our outdoor play areas are equipped with CCTV cameras to provide additional monitoring of these spaces.
  • Daily Care: Children's needs are monitored throughout the day, with staff attentive to their comfort and well-being.
  • Nutritious Meals: Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided during the school day.

Safety & Supervision

The safety of the children in our care is a responsibility we take seriously. We aim to maintain clear procedures and attentive supervision throughout the school day.

Our approach includes:

  • Fingerprint Access System: Our fingerprint system supports controlled access to the school.
  • CCTV Monitoring: Cameras in our outdoor play areas provide an additional layer of monitoring.
  • Supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play and daily routines.
  • Monitoring the school environment for potential hazards.
  • Following appropriate hygiene and health practices.
  • Recording and communicating accidents or incidents to parents.
  • Maintaining first aid supplies and ensuring designated staff members are trained in first aid.
  • Following established emergency procedures and accessing emergency assistance when required.

Emergency Preparedness

We recognise the importance of being prepared for unexpected situations. Minnieland has designated staff members with first aid and fire safety training, and the school is linked to a 24-hour emergency response service.

We aim to ensure that staff understand their responsibilities and follow the school's applicable emergency procedures to support the children's safety and well-being.

Working in Partnership with Parents

We believe that children's well-being is best supported through open communication between the school and families. Parents are encouraged to share relevant information about their child's needs and to communicate any concerns with the school.

Our goal is to provide families with peace of mind through attentive care, responsible practices and a welcoming school environment.

Your child's well-being matters to us. At Minnieland, we strive to create an environment where children can feel secure, enjoy their day and make the most of their early learning experiences.
