At Minnieland Crèche & Preschool, we provide a nurturing, personalised early learning experience for children from birth to 4 years. Our intentionally limited enrolment allows us to focus on each child's individual needs, development and well-being, while creating a close-knit community where children and families feel at home.

 

Education & School Readiness

We are committed to providing a well-rounded educational foundation that prepares children for their next stage of learning.

  • Experienced and qualified educators who support each child's development.
  • Weekly assessments to monitor progress and identify individual learning needs.
  • Regular progress reports and school reports.
  • School readiness programmes that build confidence, independence and essential skills for the transition to primary school.
  • Engaging weekly themes that encourage learning through exploration, discussion and practical activities.

 

Personalised Care & Parent Communication

We believe that strong relationships between parents and the school are essential to a child's development. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels supported, understood and cared for.

  • Daily communication: Children from birth to 2 years receive detailed daily reports covering feeding, nappy changes, medication administered and accident reports.
  • Class communication: Parents of older children receive regular updates through dedicated class WhatsApp groups.
  • Parent consultations: We discuss each child's educational, social and emotional development termly, or sooner whenever necessary.
  • Potty training: We support children through the potty-training journey from approximately 18 months, working in partnership with parents and following each child's individual readiness.

 

Special Events & Learning Experiences

We create meaningful opportunities for children to learn, celebrate and make lasting memories.

  • School concerts and performances.
  • Christmas and Easter celebrations.
  • Educational visits and interactive experiences linked to weekly themes.
  • Special visitors, including puppet shows and animal or reptile encounters.

 

Our Core Services

Designed around the needs of children and working families.

  • Operating hours: Monday to Friday, 06:45–17:30.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided for children during the school day.
  • Year-round care: We operate throughout the year, closing on public holidays and for our annual festive-season break. Our confirmed closure and reopening dates are communicated to parents in advance.
  • Safety and emergency support: We are linked to a 24-hour emergency response service to support us in managing emergencies.
